"Show What You Know Night" - Wed., March 11th

Fraser Clan will be holding a "Show What You Know Night" on Wed., March 11th, from 4:00 until 7:00.  Parents/guardians are invited to come in to see what the students have been working on for their "Cultural Fair" unit.  Please  drop by and check out the students' work!

Wed., Feb. 26th - Parent Info. Night/Spaghetti Dinner at the HS

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 26th, for an Informational Night regarding 8th grade transition to the high school.  There will be a spaghetti dinner "Dine & Discuss" with administration and guidance counselors available to address any concerns that you may have about your child's transition from middle school to high school.  If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact the high school's guidance office.  The meeting will begin at 5:30 for those of you who have received a letter regarding "Stretch Academy", and 6:15 for those of you who did not receive a letter. 

Tomorrow, February 14th, will be "Outsiders Day".  It will be our culminating activity for the novel that we've been reading.  Students are encouraged to dress as a "Soc" or as a "Greaser".  Here are some suggested ideas.  This will be a fun activity on the last day before vacation!  Both Carnegie and Fraser students will be  celebrating this classic book!  We'll finish our day with a Pizza Party - please remember to bring your own drink!

Class of 2024 Tee-Shirt Design Contest!

ATTENTION 8TH GRADERS!

Time to submit your design ideas for your Freshman T Shirts!

T-shirts:

8th grade students will be asked to design the Class of 2024 T-shirt.  

The chosen graphic will be announced on March 26 during Transition Night activities at the high school.

Deadline to submit to your design to your Clan Leader is March 4th.

Design Guidelines:

- 1 color (white design on green shirt)

- Incorporate the number 2024 into the design

- Appropriate representation of BE

- Create your design on 8 1/2 x 11" paper

- Make sure that your name and clan are clearly printed in the top left corner of your entry

On Thursday, the 13th, there will be a Student/Staff Basketball Game after school.  Please read this attachment for more info.

Friday - "Outsiders Day" and Clan Pizza Party!!

As an earlier post stated, Friday, February 14th, will be "Outsiders Day".  We will also be having a Clan Pizza Party.  Money from our fundraiser (this past Fall) will be used to pay for the pizza.  We will have a sign-up sheet in Mrs. Norton's room for drinks and chips.  If you have not yet contributed to the fundraiser (this is the only money our clan has and it helps to defray the costs of field trips and clan activities), it is not too late to do so.  Here is the letter that was sent home last Fall.   Cash or checks (made out to "BEMS" may be sent in).

Spring Sports Sign-Up Info.

The BEMS Spring Sports Sign-ups are now open and will remain open until 2/14/20.  It is important that all participants sign up during this time as we are making decisions about teams, schedules and the coaching staff based on the number of students that plan to participate in each sport.  Use the electronic sign-up form on the Athletics Webpage found here https://sites.google.com/a/bonnyeagle.org/bemsathletics/sportsignups to sign up.  Students must use their BEMS email to sign up!
